Learning to accept and embrace the need for innovation & change is now an essential part of most organisations. But most organisations and individuals are not designed, motivated or enabled to do this; it is at best an after-thought once the real work is done.

Without re-tooling from within innovation and change will be at best sporadic, always painful and require extensive external intervention.

Innovation theory and practice has come a long way in recent years, often driven by the accelerating capabilities of new technologies and the products and business models they enable.

Its time to get serious, understand what is happening and why and build innovation and change capabilities into the way we do business & create value.
